Greetings for Daddy!

Hi daddy, Tommy took a beautiful pictures of your two girls and a little boy.

Then he was showing off his tonsils.

And this is the picture of Mommy ready to go to church - all pretty with a big belly. Five plus days to go!

Winter is saying goodbye?

Today we had a little spell of cold weather - we got about an inch and a half of snow overnight and it kept snowing lightly on and off all morning. But it started to melt in the afternoon and by the evening the spring was back again.

Our new baby...

...or an old one? As we were getting ready for the baby, Emma decided that it's time to test it all out, make sure it's safe for baby Derek. Everything held quite well, except her legs were not crossed and folded anymore like when she was a baby, this time they were hanging over.

Time to test out the car seat.

And the baby crib...

Yes, baby Derek can be up to 36 inches long and weigh up to 25 pounds :) - hopefully not.

Rising star

Daddy gave Emma a little MP3 player before he left on his deployment and it's been in use ever since. Emma loves to listen and sing into it. Of course that she dances along as well.

Taps her feet.

Focuses really hard.

And of course, likes to pose and take pictures in many different ways.

Tommy's new Lego Starwars T-shirt

Tommy wanted to take a picture of his new Lego Starwars t-shirt that he bought for the money he got for Easter. He was really proud to be like his daddy - wearing a short sleeve Starwars t-shirt (I wonder if we will be able to wash it anytime soon).

For some reason, he decided to take his jeans off and Emma took hold of them and started to put them on - giggling.

Then Tommy discovered that he had black underwear, matching his t-shirt. He wanted to take a picture of that too - with Emma in the background.

Fun, fun, fun!

Tommy's friend Jordan

Tommy's friend Jordan came over today and all three of them (including Emma) had a lot of fun.

Jordan was the master and Tommy was his robot.

Emma doubled as a Safari/dinosaur hunter.

The kids had fun even with the office chair, taking turns and spinning each other.

Three buddies, how cute!

What would friends be without wrestling? Notice the flying pillow.

Now we are buddies again.

Feeding the wild game

Tommy and Emma "were" too tired to sit at the table and eat dinner, so we gave them a bath and fed them in the bed - what a treat for all involved. Daddy, the crumbs were vacuumed shortly :) and we love you!!!

A great treat from our friend Emily!

My good friend and neighbor Emily was so wonderful and "made" me to go out and have fun with my mom. She watch our children for a few hours so we decided to have a pedicure done. My mom said it felt wonderful on her feet and there was no question about my two tired appendages (not Tommy and Emma :)) that they needed some pampering.
After that we went to Old Navy in American Fork to look around. We agreed that it would be more fun than going out and eat. Truly, shopping and looking around is done so much easier when you don't have to chase two lively children.
Emily continued her pampering as she offered us lasagna she made with Sarah another friend and neighbor when we came to pick up our two little wonders.
This was one of the kindest things to make me go out - Emily is the Queen of not asking but doing. What a great woman!

You can see we had a lot of fun!
