Temple Square lights

This was our annual trip to Temple Square to see the lights. It was a wonderful beginning of our Christmas season. Grandma Tena volunteer (or rather was recruited :)) to go with us. We all had a good time - I did. It is getting better each year - kids seem to be less winy or we are more resilient. We all loved it - the key was leaving early to beat the crowds.

Please eat!
Candy party for the baby
OK, this was not any baby, it was baby Jesus party. Notice the presents for the baby in the background. He even had a bottle of milk there. How cute!

The party turned into building baby Jesus a gingerbread house out of graham crackers and frosting. That was a lot of tasting and even more fun. We hid a surprise under the roof (skulls and bones candy left over from Halloween :)).

Of course, there had to be a lot of frosting and candy to make it beautiful. Tommy was making sure there was a neat pattern, Emma just wanted to decorate it to her own liking. While "the family" watched. We even had a bell guard (if you notice the little person next to the door).
